Granulation machines in the production process of material leakage problems are often caused by reduced production efficiency and product quality decline. Many manufacturers do not know what to do when they encounter this situation. Today I specifically asked our engineers about the causes of plastic pelletizing recycling machine exhaust leakage. If you encounter the same situation in the production process of the PE pelletizing machine, you can check it yourself first.
Feeding speed and rotational speed of granulation machine
A mismatch between feed rate and granulation machine speed can be a key cause of exhaust port leakage. If the feed rate is too fast and the plastic pelletizing recycling machine speed is low, this can lead to a reduced retention time of the material in the screw, which prevents it from plasticizing sufficiently, resulting in air bubbles or an uneven plastic condition. This could lead to an increase in pressure inside the PE pelletizing machine, which in turn could lead to leakage at the exhaust port.
PE pelletizing machine exhaust port temperature
Low natural exhaust port temperatures can also be a contributing factor to granulation machine exhaust port leakage. During the plastic extrusion process, proper temperatures promote plasticization and fluidity of the material, which helps to expel air and gases from the plastic pelletizing recycling machine. If the natural exhaust port temperature is too low, the plastic may not have enough fluidity to expel gases, which can lead to PE pelletizing machine exhaust port leakage problems.
Screws for granulation machine
The mismatch between the plastic pelletizing recycling machine screw and the natural exhaust port in the feed cylinder may also lead to leakage of the exhaust port. If the natural exhaust port between the granulation machine screw and the feed barrel is not reasonably designed or there is a gap, it will result in the material not being able to exhaust smoothly during the extrusion process. In this case, air bubbles accumulate in the exhaust port and the exhaust is not smooth, which ultimately leads to leakage of material from the exhaust port.
How to solve the leakage of granulation machine exhaust port?
- Adjust the feeding speed and the rotating speed of the plastic granulator to ensure that they work in harmony within a reasonable range. This will avoid gas accumulation caused by too fast feeding.
- Optimization of the heating system of the PE pelletizing machine to ensure moderate temperature at the natural exhaust port. This facilitates material plasticization and gas emission.
- Obtain an optimized shape and position of the exhaust port to ensure that it is well matched to the granulation machine screw. This can promote smooth gas discharge.
